Gaited Jack JB stopped breeding so we are selling him as a gelded riding donkey. Most donkeys are very lazy and hard to get going, but JB will move along. JB likes people. He has always been in his own paddock, next to but not with other horses and donkeys, so we don't know how he would act in the same pasture as horses and donkeys. Jenny Ruth gave birth this spring to Cadillac Cutie. April 11, 2009, update: After a year and 21 days, Ruth is a new mother. Gaited donkey Cadillac Cutie, was born today. We are simply amazed by Ruth's mothering instincts. She gently picked up her wobbly baby by the top of her neck to help her up. She gently moved one of the baby's legs over to make it easier for her to stand. Nita has a very small head with very long ears. By late afternoon she is moving around well. And she is SO gaited.
