Gaited Mule Pretty Polly - Paso Fino Mule
In February of 2006 I purchased a Paso Fino molly mule trained by John Niebruegge of J & B Paso Fino Horses and Gaited Mules. What a wonderful gaited mule she is, will do anything you want her to do always wanting to please, and has a very smooth gait. Paso Fino mule Polly is easy to catch, in fact you don't have to catch her, she comes to you anywhere. I have owned several mules but this gaited molly mule has the best attitude of any I have owned. I have a friend that had mules in Canada for riding and packing at a hunting lodge for 23 years, he said he had never seen a mule so well trained in his life.
This spring of 2006 we entered a gaited mule show. I nor Polly had ever been in a show, but she was a "natural show mule". She performed like she had been shown for years, entering 3 events and taking 3-2nd places. What an accomplishment for a green show mule and rider. In fact she beat out another mule that had a price tag of $20,000.00, so naturally her price went up but I would not sell her for love nor money.
Gaited mule Pretty Polly rides trails in the mountains of Western Washington and does it all, there were some steep climbs with slick rock sides. Everybody said, "Stay to the right away from the rocks". Polly just chose her way around the side to stay off the rocks and kept her footing in the dirt. "No telling her", she did it on her own. Just mount her, she will take you on a safe ride no matter what the conditions are like. Water makes her no difference, she will go in as deep as you want her to. What a wonderful Paso Fino mule. Ride one, buy one,and you will never be dissatisfied. They have by far the best disposition and are very smart and willing to satisfy. She doesn't let noise bother her. We have logging trucks flying by on the highway, it doesn't even faze her, jake brakes on those big trucks made her no difference, her mind is set on the trail and that is where it stays.
